The Legalization of Marijuana in Colorado, The Impact Vol. 4

The Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (RMHIDTA) compiled data on the impact of marijuana in Colorado following legalization.  The report looks at impaired driving, youth and adult marijuana use, emergency department and hospitalizations and other critical measurements.  

Among its findings is a 62-percent increase in marijuana related traffic deaths in Colorado and a spike in emergency department cases involving children accidentally poisoned by ingesting the drug.
